Gary Dennis Halford, 80, and Danee Louise Halford, 78, both of Washington, were tragically found deceased in a wooded area near Pamlico Plantation, in a case that investigators have determined to be a murder-suicide.
According to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the area on Tuesday, April 7, after receiving a 911 call. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they discovered both individuals dead, prompting an immediate investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
